The Bluecoats Collection from W. Britain's traces the history of the American Army from before the founding of the United States. Many of the colonial militias had little to no military training, and brought their own equipment with them when it became necessary to fight. The professional soldiers of the French were far less numerous, but provided invaluable training and planning to their allies during the French and Indian War.
These hand-painted metal miniatures are finished with a glossy shine that recalls classically made toy soldiers. The Bluecoats are made in the same style and tradition as W. Britain's Redcoats Collection.
