First Legion
The Light Company of the 38th Regiment of Foot of the American Revolution is the latest release from First Legion. The 38th Regiment landed in Boston in 1774 and took part in the battles at Lexington/Concord, Bunker Hill, Long Island, Brandywine, Germantown, and Monmouth Court House among others; making this one of the storied regiments of the war.
The elite companies also took part in Yorktown where they surrendered with Cornwallis.
Here they are depicted in their role of skirmishing in a mix of moving and fighting poses. This redcoat moves cautiously, scanning the American landscape for the enemy.
