W. Britain, Matte Finish #41117 Nelson with Emma Set

Their love affair became the talk of society and did him much harm. Devoted, they spent happy times at Nelson's house in Surrey, enjoying entertaining in lavish style.
Seen here following a reception, with Lady Hamilton in a typical evening gown of the period and Nelson wearing his Vice Admirals Full Dress and decorations.

On 21st October 1805 a British Fleet under the command of Admiral Lord Horatio Nelson not only destroyed the combined fleets of France and Spain, but with it Napoleon's dreams of invading Britain.
The Battle of Trafalgar was the most important naval engagement of the Napoleonic Wars, however the great victory was nearly overshadowed by national mourning at the loss of Lord Nelson, killed at the height of the battle on board his flagship HMS Victory.
To commemorate the bi-centenary of the battle approaching in 2005, W. Britain has created this special Trafalgar range capturing in stunning detail Nelson and his key officers Vice-Admiral Villeneuve and the men of the Combined Fleet who faced him. They have also included this unique set paying homage to his true love, Lady Emma Hamilton.
