The winter of 1944-45 was particularly harsh and the troops involved in the fighting that year suffered on both sides.
These newest releases represents U.S. Airborne Infantry of the 101st Airborne Division as they would have appeared in the Ardennes during the “Battle of the Bulge.” They wear a combination of the rigger modified M-43 combat uniforms and standard issue cold weather overcoats and for the lucky ones, rubber overshoes.
