During the United States Military Academy's Centennial celebration, President Theodore Roosevelt presents Cadet Calvin P. Titus the Medal of Honor. Prior to his academy appointment, Cadet Titus served as an enlisted soldier with the 14th Infantry Regiment during combat actions in both the Philippine War and the China Relief Expedition. It was for his heroic performance during the latter conflict, that he received the coveted Medal of Honor.
