British pilot Johnnie Johnson was one of the most successful Allied aces of the entire European Theater, achieving 38 victories during his illustrious career. In addition to service with the RAF, Johnson was, in early 1943, put in command of the 125 Wing of the Royal Canadian Air Force, a position he served until the end of the war. This limited edition, action print captures yet another kill by Captain Johnson — piloting his Supermarine Spitfire — over a Bf 109 in 1944.
16"x 11½" signed, limited edition print.
