This is a Damaged NOR025 Waffen-SS Panzer Grenadier Sniper with Scoped STG 44 by First Legion.

There is paint peeling/chipping on his jacket, bag and rifle strap as shown. Comes in original box.

The Waffen-SS was formulated as the militant wing of the Nazi Party, and over the course of the war it expanded to 38 divisions. They fought on both the Eastern and Western front alongside the Heer Divisions of the German Army. The Waffen-SS troops were typically given priority for equipment and were, at least initially, made up of the most loyal and die hard soldiers. Extreme capabability in battle typified their conduct, with the tank divisions in particular earning the fear of the opposition.

These hand painted metal miniatures can be used as Panzer Grenadiers from nearly any Waffen-SS division, including but not limited to: 12^th SS Hitler Jugend, 1^st SS Leibstandarte Adolf Hitler, 17^th SS Gotz von Berlichingen, 2^nd SS Das Reich, 9^th SS Hohenstaufen, or 10^th SS Frundsberg. The inspiration for these figures was the HBO mini-series Band of Brothers, so they would represent members of the 17^th SS opposing the US Paratroopers at the Battle of Bloody Gulch. However, they can be representative of any Waffen-SS Grenadier formation. The Battle of Normandy range of figures now has some opposition for the US Paratroopers as the Waffen-SS take the field!

This soldier has improved his already deadly STG 44 by adding a scope to scout enemy positions.
