Thomas Gunn Miniatures LUFT001A FW 190 - European Theatre
Wingspan 13.75" x 11" nose-to-tail. No pilot, cockpit canopy slides open.
As flown by Armin Faber in 1942. Faber was the unlucky German pilot who made the mistake of landing his FW190-A3 at Pembrey airfield in Wales in June 1942. The capture of the aircraft provided a gold mine of information for the British forces who had even been contemplating a Commando raid into France to try and bring back one of these aeroplanes. Fortunately Faber saved the British the trouble.
