By February 1944, the T-34/85 had become a pivotal asset for the Soviet Red Army during World War II. An upgraded version of the earlier T-34, the T-34/85 featured a more powerful 85mm gun, which significantly improved its firepower against German armor. Its enhanced turret design allowed for better crew operation and defensive capabilities. In early 1944, the tank played a critical role in the Soviet offensives, particularly during the battles to liberate Ukraine and push back German forces on the Eastern Front. The combination of its mobility, armor protection, and firepower made the T-34/85 a formidable opponent, contributing to the Red Army's momentum and eventual success in the war.With it's two opening and closing metal hatches, it's of course a natural for new crew figures to come.
The model is made from a mixed media (resin, metal, aluminium, photo etch, etc...)
