Son of the Count of Harcourt. In the fourth wave of charging French knights at Crecy, he broke in to the Black Prince's front line, dismounted, and became part of the throng of fighting men packed tightly together, whose numbers and brute strength pressured the Black Prince badly. He was wounded and carried from the field.
