These hand-painted collectors' soldiers depict members of the 22nd Special Air Service Regiments CRW (Counter Revolutionary Warfare) assault team who rescued the hostage from the Iranian Embassy in London, 1980.
They are equipped with Heckler and Koch MP5 sub-machine guns and Browning Hi-power pistols. The troopers wear body armour, black clothing and respirators.
Their dramatic rescue, which was enacted live on national television, brought Britain's "elite of elite" units to the forefront of the general public, even though they prefer to keep a very low profile in their normal combat role.
