Military Gifts
The American daylight bombing campaign against Germany, which sent formations of up to 1,000 aircraft on a single mission, decimated German war making facilities and was a major factor in the Allied victory in Europe. This print dramatizes one such mission, highlighting the danger to the bombers as a faster, more agile Luftwaffe Fw 190 fires on the fleet in defense of its homeland.
