Not yet released - expected in the future.

This junior officer of the Royal Deux Ponts (Zweibrucken) carries the wonderfully ornate standard, the drapeau d’ordonnance of the regiment consisting of the white St. Andrew cross with a golden crown in the center, two golden fleurs de lys on each branch, and arms of the region in the triangles. The regiment was made up of soldiers from the Palatine Zweibrücken, a former duchy of the Holy Roman Empire which existed from 1757 to 1791 and wore the distinctive blue costs of the German regiments in French service. It was commanded by Count Deux- Ponts at battle of Yorktown, in 1781. Lt. Col. Viscount de Deux-Ponts of this regiment commanded the attack and taking of redoubt No. 9 with his troops and those from the Gatinois Regiment leading to the surrender of the British forces under command of British Lord Cornwallis.
